For the past year, I’ve been working with Eastern Kentucky University’s head basketball coach, A.W. Hamilton, to design and illustrate a children’s book based on his popular Dream Big Basketball Camps. I’m so excited to announce that the book is finished and currently being published!

This book recounts Hamilton’s camp lessons using illustrations of his family and friends, and anecdotes from his own life. It is a great gift for any kid, not just basketball enthusiasts, and even though it is aimed at elementary children, I’ve started applying some of the lessons with my own kids, who are in their teens.

I designed the entire layout of the book from cover to cover, working closely with Coach A.W. and his publisher, as well as drawing all of the illustrations myself.

Copies of the book were initially given out to attendees of Hamilton’s Dream Big camps in Richmond and Georgetown, Kentucky, over the summer, but the book is now available to order in hardback or paperback from Amazon.
